Things to do in Exuma

St. Andrew's Church, Georgetown

St. Andrew's Church is on Kidd Hill in Georgetown, overlooking Stocking Island and Kidd Harbour at the front and with views of saltwater Lake Victoria behind it. This whitewashed Anglican Church was built in 1802. It fell into decay and was rebuilt in 1860 and again in 1885. Apparently, Churches and pirates don't mix that well.

It makes a great venue for a wedding but there are many other churches on Great and Little Exuma. And if a beach wedding is your preference, the choices are endless. There are several wedding planners based on the island, if that is of interest.
